Our Commitment to
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
At ATG Hotels, we believe that true hospitality extends beyond delivering exceptional
guest experiences. It reflects our responsibility to the communities we serve, the
environment we depend on, and the cultural heritage we are privileged to stand beside.
With this vision, we continue to support meaningful initiatives that empower children,
preserve nature, and protect the historical richness of our region.
Supporting Children Through UNICEF
Through Selectum Hotels & Resorts, we proudly contribute to UNICEF’s global efforts to improve the lives of children in need. Our support helps expand access to healthcare, strengthen educational opportunities, prevent child labor, and protect children living under the threat of conflict, violence, or exploitation. Ensuring a safe, healthy and hopeful future for all children remains at the heart of our social responsibility values.
A Greener Future with TEMA Foundation
Aligned with our sustainability goals, we established a memorial forest of 10,000 saplings in Gaziantep in cooperation with the TEMA Foundation. Each sapling was carefully selected and planted based on ecological needs, contributing to biodiversity and supporting the regeneration of natural ecosystems. This meaningful initiative reflects our long-term commitment to safeguarding the environment and creating a greener future.
Preserving Cultural Heritage in Side
We support the excavation and restoration efforts in the Sacred Harbor Area of Side, carried out under the leadership of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Side Ancient City Excavation Directorate. Recent studies have revealed a Late Antique bathhouse near the Demeter Temple, shedding new light on the site’s historical significance. As Selectum Hotels & Resorts, we are proud to contribute to the preservation and revitalization of this remarkable cultural heritage.
Illuminating History in Sillyon
We also support the ongoing archaeological work in Sillyon, one of the most important ancient cities of the Pamphylia Region. Known for its powerful fortifications and for being one of the few cities Alexander the Great could not conquer, Sillyon also hosts one of the earliest Turkish-Islamic structures in the region, the Kale Mosque. Our contribution to this project reflects our respect for history and our dedication to ensuring that cultural treasures are preserved for future generations.
Promoting Environmental Awareness Through the Eco School Festival
As ATG Hotels, we continue to support environmental education for children through the “Eco School Festival” held at Yukarıkocayatak Primary School in Serik, Antalya. Within the international Eco School Program, 320 students and 30 teachers enjoyed a vibrant day filled with joyful activities such as clown shows, foam parties, mascots, face painting, and music, helping them learn environmental responsibility in a fun and meaningful way.
Introducing Children to the Magical World of Aviation
Under the ATG Hotels umbrella, Selectum Hotels & Resorts collaborated with Mavi Gök Aviation to introduce 40 students from Yukarıkocayatak Primary School to the world of aviation. As part of the Eco School Project, children toured a Boeing 777-300ER at Antalya Airport, explored the aircraft with pilots and cabin crew, and experienced the excitement of sitting in the pilot’s seat while learning about the stages of flight.
Support for the International Plant Health Day Event
Aligned with our environmental sustainability approach, ATG Hotels supported the International Plant Health Day event in Antalya, where government representatives, academics, and industry experts discussed reducing pesticide residues, strengthening biological and biotechnical control methods, and promoting sustainable agriculture. Videos created by children of farmers practicing biological control were also showcased and received great appreciation.
Supporting a Day of Hope and Inclusion for Individuals with Down Syndrome
ATG Hotels was delighted to participate in the special kite and music event organized by the Down Syndrome and Disabilities Association, standing alongside our special young participants. The event highlighted the message “Create a Job Opportunity Too,” encouraging broader employment opportunities and social inclusion, while celebrating the inspiring energy, dedication, and positivity that individuals with Down syndrome bring to every environment they are part of.
Supporting Special Education Week Activities
As ATG Hotels, we were delighted to host students from Serik Special Education Vocational School at Selectum Family Resort Belek as part of Special Education Week. Throughout the day, the students enjoyed various activities, and their joy and energy inspired us while contributing to a meaningful environment of connection and inclusion.
Contributing to Türkiye’s Agricultural Heritage
As ATG Hotels, we were proud to host the GIAHS National Capacity Development Workshop at Antalya Kremlin Palace, supporting Türkiye’s first application to the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS). Organized in collaboration with FAO and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the workshop strengthened the Elmalı district’s submission and highlighted the importance of preserving agricultural heritage, traditional knowledge, and sustainable farming practices. We are pleased to contribute to this meaningful national effort.
